Sak Yant Tattoo Art.

  • Action Script.
  • New Dinnerware.
  • Flash Cs6.
  • Ugly Betty vs. Assassins Creed 3.
  • Sak Yant Tattoo Art.

Flash is by far the hardest media based application I've ever had to learn. In my media class, we have an assignment to produce a "website" designed around on a specific subject that we found interesting. I was doing research on Thailand and their culture.

One of the things they are most famous for is their tattooing. Apparently, Angelina Jolie has one herself. A Thai monk came to her house and proceeded with the ritual. Prayers, meter long needles, and orange robes.

I've always wanted a tattoo.. dare I go through with it if I happen upon Thailand? (a tiny one - probably on my back) They are quite amazing..

What I'm working on now in Flash, is buttons.. "instance name" "_btn" - all that good ol' fashioned nerd talk. Tomorrow is my class final.. I'll have to demonstrate my concept to classmates who really don't care. Hell, I'm only kind of interested in the tattoo. What amazes me most is the actual process of making the tattoo.

Oh yeah, I put "Ugly Betty vs. Assassins Creed 3" in my brain swimming section. Ugly Betty, because I'm watching it while I work. And AC3 because I watch theRadBrad on YouTube and he did a tutorial/walk through on Assassins Creed 3; the game. [theRadBrad AC3 Video] Anyway, it was amazing, and I've decided to treat myself to it after my class!

I wish I could actually stick to photoshop.. Not that I'm amazing, but I actually understand it, unlike Flash and that native language.

Flowers by the Fireplace.

  • Glaucoma.
  • Love.
  • Tea.
  • Media.
  • Redecorating my downstairs bathroom.
  • Design.
  • Flowers by the fireplace.

My brain is swimming. I have a mild form of ADHD, and although I can sit through a conversation, I feel as though my future lies in the balance. I've decided to start blogging. With so many goals in my life, I feel as though I WILL lose track of them and eventually end up with nothing. Let's call this a phobia. It may not be true, but my fear, unfortunately is.

I'm hopping this will help me keep track of the things I want most in life. Traveling, working in Animation, Moving to another house, finding a path for myself that's relatively easy for me to walk on.

Anyway, this piece is merely an introduction. I will be publishing all media to this blog. Videos of interesting situations, photography of my county, and music of my liking.

Cheers,
Em
